Here are some upcoming free (or heavily discounted) food items and treats you can get in the Northern Virginia area this month (April 2009):

CALIFORNIA TORTILLA FREEBIES ON 3 SELECT DAYS THIS MONTH
Another Free Food Item Yet to be announced at California Tortilla during the week of April 13-17: There should be a password emailed out via their Taco Talk e-newsletter, and more information given on the exact date of the promotion and what tasty item will be free.
There will be one additional promo announced on their FaceBook Fan Page  which will give the third and final password for a freebie this month. Their first promo of the month was a free taco when you told them the password “Tweetie” on Tuesday, April 7.

CINNABON TAX DAY BITES
On Wed. April 15th, 2009 from 5 PM to 8 PM participating Cinnabon Bakeries will give away FREE bites!* Click here to find the location closest to you.

TACO DEL MAR FREE TACO
On Wed. April 15, 2009 partipating Taco Del Mar stores will have a free taco you can redeem with this coupon. The only location near us is in Annandale, VA. Click here to find the location closest to you.

MAGGIE MOOS FREE ICE CREAM ON TAX DAY
On April 15, 2009 participating Treateries nationwide will reward customers with one free single-scoop of ice cream in honor of Tax Day. Click here to find a location near you.

BEN & JERRY’S FREE CONE DAY
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm participating Ben & Jerry’s locations will be giving out free scoops of ice cream for their annual “Free Cone Day.”  Click here to find your nearest location.

DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS 50-CENT ICED COFFEE DAY
Small (16 oz) Iced Coffees to be sold for 50 cents on April 21, 2009; Portion of the proceeds to benefit Homes for Our Troops. Click here to find a location near you.

BASKIN ROBBINS 31-CENT SCOOP NIGHT
On Wed. April 29, 2009 from 5 PM to 10 PM, participating Baskin Robbins stores across the US will hold 31 Cent Scoop Night to honor America’s firefighters. Baskin-Robbins will reduce prices of small ice cream scoops to 31 cents* and create an opportunity for customers to donate to local fire charities. Click here to find a location near you.
