Bloom Triple Coupons 6/24/09 – 6/30/09 – Shopping Trip #1

Bloom Grocery Stores are once again tripling coupons up to $0.99 June 24-30, 2009, with a limit of 20 coupons per transaction, per day.

I just went to the store and here’s what I got at Bloom (one item is not pictured because I accidentally left it at the store, just called customer service and will return tomorrow to pick it up…hmmm another trip, another chance to use more coupons, since they have a 20 per day limit):

Bloom Triples 06.24.09Bought 16 items and paid $10.27 but then got back $5.28 from customer service because of some items that had been marked a lower price on the aisle than what they rang up at the register… so actually ended up paying $4.99 for all this stuff!  My receipt stated that I had a total savings of $38.96, but that was before I was refunded the $5+ by customer service.  So I guess my total savings would be $44.24… almost 90% savings!  Not too bad!

Hands-down, my favorite freebies after triple coupons were:

Purdue Perfect Portions Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 24 oz. (had orange sticker with bar code that read “Value Priced! $2.25”)
1 @ $2.25 = $2.25
– $0.75 RP TRIPLED

Daisy Sour Cream 16 oz.  @ $1.67 each
– $0.60 RP TRIPLED

SuperPretzel 6-count frozen soft baked pretzels (13 oz.) @ $2 each
– $0.75 RP TRIPLED

Lawry’s Seasoned Salt 4 oz.  @ $1.37 each
– $0.50 RP TRIPLED

Other items I bought were:

Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh Luncheon Meat @ $3.00 each
– $0.75 IP coupon (no longer available) TRIPLED
= $0.75 each

Lysol Disinfectant Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner With Bleach 24 FL OZ @ $1.41
– $0.50 SS TRIPLED

Spray ‘N’ Wash Dual Power (Laundry Stain Remover) 22 FL OZ @ $2.67
– $0.75 RP? TRIPLED
= $0.42

Domino Powdered Sugar $2.09
– $0.30 RP TRIPLED
= $1.19

Pepperidge Farm Toasted Wheat Chips (rang up as $3.49 each, but were marked as $2.50 each on the aisle… the customer help person honored the $2.50 each price from me, but removed the incorrect price tag from the aisle)
5 x $2.50 = $12.50
– (5) $0.75 SS 5/31/09 TRIPLED
= $1.25 ($0.25 each)

Huggies Clean Team Kids Wipes 1 @ $2.49 (item not pictured… because I left it at the store and still need to head back over to pick it up from customer service!)
– $0.75 SS 5/31/09 TRIPLED
= $0.24

Went to Bloom today and got 9 items, thanks for the heads up on the Lawry Seasoning Salt & Chicken! The Perfect Portions were marked down to 3.14 for the Italian Style only. I bought two packages and used a 75 cent coupon and a dollar coupon set to expire. Witg my “overages” from my free items I paid $3.90 OOP! Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the comment Jennifer. Glad to hear that you got some great deals at Bloom too! That’s a bummer that the Perfect Portions weren’t discounted down to $2.25 like at the Fair Lakes store (which would make them free with the $0.75 coupon tripled), but the price you found for $3.14 and then with your coupons is still not a bad deal at all. And I love how you kept your OOP so low. Woo hoo!
