Giant Food Stores have some great sales this week (Fri. May 29-Thurs. June 4) in the Northern Virginia area, which you can check out here at the Redemption Unlimited website.
Some of the high lights for me were:
Dollar doubler coupons in the weekly inserts that you receive in the mail (and conveniently removed from the in-store circulars available at the entrance way). With a $15 minimum purchase you can use up to four dollar doublers which will double your $1 Manufacturer Coupons.
1 Dozen Eggs $0.99
Nature’s Promise Rice Milk or Soy Milk (not in refrigerated section but “Health Food” aisle) 2/$3
80% Lean Ground Beef $1.79 per lb.
Purdue Boneless Chicken Breasts BOGO Free (Regular price $4.99 per lb.)
OR… a few select stores in Manassas, Chantilly, Gainesville, Herndon, Sterling, and the Alexandria locations at 3131 Duke Street, 530 First Street, and 425 E. Monroe Avenue:
Purdue Boneless Chicken Breasts $1.99 per lb. (Regular price $4.99 per lb.)
The $1.99 per lb. special is a slightly better deal than the BOGO Free offer, which comes to approximately $2.50 per lb. (since you’re getting one of the packages at $4.99 per lb. free, when you buy one at equal or greater value).
It appears most stores have the Purdue Boneless Chicken Breasts BOGO FREE (most Alexandria locations, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Clifton, Fairfax, Fallmouth, Falls Church, Haymarket, Lorton, Oakton, Reston, South Riding, Springfield, Stafford, Vienna, Warrenton, Woodbridge), and a few stores have that same item on sale for $1.99 PER LB for a slightly better deal: (Manassas, Chantilly, Gainesville, Herndon, Sterling, and the Alexandria locations at 3131 Duke Street, 530 First Street, and 425 E. Monroe Ave.).
Be sure to print off a $3/$15 meat coupon (you can print as many as you want, but can only use one per transaction) to maximize your savings! This internet printable coupon is valid thru June 4th.
In one transaction I bought 2 chicken breast packages equaling a little over 3 lb. so that it came to $15.00 regular price (or slightly over… $4.99 x 3.01 lb (or one package 1.38 lb. and one package 1.63 lb. = $15.02), then I scanned my $3/$15 Giant Meat coupon, and LASTLY scanned my bonus card which deducted off $3 per lb. so that it matched the sale price of $1.99 per lb. ($9 off). This brought my total down to $3.02 total for the chicken, ie. about $1.00 per lb.
Wow, final price of $1.00 per lb. for Purdue Boneless Chicken Breast. That’s a great price particularly for non-frozen!
So get over to Giant with your coupons in hand and take advantage of some of their great deals by this Thursday!
