Harris Teeter Super Double Coupons 6/24/09 – Shopping Trip #1

Whew… it’s been a crazy couponing/grocery shopping day for me.  First I hit Bloom for their Triple Coupons Event.  Then I hit Harris Teeter for their Super Double Coupons Event.  Here’s a photo of what I got at HT:

According to the receipt, my coupons (and doubling) tendered came to $60.49 and I only spent $24.74 OOP (out-of-pocket).  So I guess that is about a 71% savings just with coupons.  My receipt states that I saved $19.22 by using my VIC card, so including sales and coupons I really had a 76% savings.  Oh and I almost forgot to mention that because I bought 4 Kraft cheese products, a $3 catalina OYNO (on your next order) printed out, so that’s $3 for me to use on my next HT trip.  Yippee!  Thanks Mercedes for the tip!

Some of the items I purchased were not normal groceries, but “stock up” items for my son’s birthday party/bbq this month and probably a bbq for my  hubby next month.  All those paper plates, napkins and cups will come in handy for these parties!
