Giant Cereal Deal This Week Combined With Kellogg's Fuel For School = Better Than Free Cereal!

Today I went to Giant to use my Kellogg’s cereal coupons that I had been saving up for a really good cereal sale to combine with the Kellogg’s Fuel for School Rebate.

I combined two Giant sales/promotions for this week, along with their Dollar Doubler Coupons to pay $8.95 for 10 boxes of cereal (about $0.90 per box).  I will submit my mail-in-rebate for the Kellogg’s Fuel for School program soon and when I get my rebate check of $10, I will end up getting the cereal for free and netting $1.05 profit!
That’s better than free!

Here’s a picture of my total purchase:

And here are the coupons I used:

Giant Dollar Doubler and Kellogg's Fuel for School Rebate

My receipt stated that I saved $9.00 in Bonus Card savings, $8.76 in “Personal Thanks Savings”, and $11.19 in “Manufacturer Coupons/Dollar Doubler Coupons”.  My total before savings was $45.41.  My savings came to $28.95, which is a 63% savings.  Include the Fuel for School Rebate of $10 and my total savings will be 85% (after rebate).

Here’s a list of what I purchased with the coupon match-up:

TOTAL PAID OOP (out-of-pocket) = $17.15 (including tax)
