In the mean time, I wanted to let you know of a contest from Northern Virginia Magazine and Great Country Farms.

Do you post Walmart and Target deals in the Fairlakes shopping area on this blog site?

Thanks for the comment!
To answer your question, no I do not currently post Walmart and Target deals for the Fair Lakes shopping area. I used to live very close to Fair Lakes/Fair Oaks, but now live out in Prince William County. For my posts I try to focus on deals in Fairfax County & Prince William County as well as other areas of N. Va. I haven’t buckled down and figured out if I want to post a specific store deal every week yet… to be honest there are other frugal bloggers in our area that do post the main grocery store deals. I haven’t seen any of them consistently do Walmart and Target deals. I actually have a Super Target not too far from me, so I may look into posting deals for those. I like MoneySavingMom and DealSeekingMom for their Walmart and Target weekly deals and coupon match-ups. But the pricing in their area does not always match the pricing here in No. Va, as I’ve noticed some variance in the past.

For a list of other frugal bloggers in Northern VA/DC check out this page here.

MoneyWiseMoms does Safeway weekly deals

Redemption Unlimited does Giant weekly deals

NovaThrifty does Magruders, Harris Teeter, and other stores’ weekly deals

Frugally Blonde does Wegmans weekly deals

Frugal In Virginia does a bunch of stores’ deals

and Holly’s Savings started doing Bottom Dollar deals.

Maybe I’ll start posting Shoppers, Aldi, or Bloom deals for the NoVa area? Do you think others would be interested in that? Do you know of any other frugal bloggers in our area that are not on my list?
