Do you have a favorite grocery store? Or maybe you shop at a variety of different stores to get the best deals from around town. My advice is, if you shop at a store, don’t just sign up for a “member” savings card but make sure you are registered to receive special coupons and offers by email (or snail mail).
For example, I don’t shop at Magruder’s that often, but every so often I find myself in the Vienna area and drive by the Magruder’s store on Route 123 and I stop by if I know they have a good deal. I often read Stephanie’s grocery store deals on Nova Thrifty and am often impressed by some of the deals and specials that Magruder’s offers. A few weeks ago I signed up for the Magruder’s e-mail list to receive their weekly circular by e-mail, as well as special offers. I was excited to receive a coupon just recently for a free 10-oz. Swiss Miss Cocoa Mix for free, no purchase necessary, valid 10/28/09-11/3/09.
So if you shop at Magruder’s, I highly suggest you sign up for their e-Weekly Circulars and special promotions. Just send an email to circular @ magruders.com with the word “Subscribe” in the subject line.
