We’ve gotten a LOT of snow the past week and a half! Although I’m ready for the roads to be completely cleared, the snow banks to melt, and to get out of the house more, I’m thankful that being “stuck” inside for the majority of the past week and a half has helped me save money. Less shopping, less spending, more time for clipping coupons, finding frugal ways to be entertained at home, and having a week-long “eating from the pantry” personal challenge for myself. It’s been challenging but also rewarding!
I’m guessing most of you reading this in the DC Metro area are also a little tired of the snow! Hopefully you were able to stay warm inside and save money too!
Today I’m trying to get a few things done around the house and for my husband’s business, so I hope to post an updated list of coupon match-ups for the Shoppers Triple/Double Coupon promotion this week (only taking place at 3 VA stores) by sometime tomorrow (Friday). The list will be similar to last week’s list, less the special sales from the prior week, plus some new sales for this week.
