Wegmans Coupon Policy and Tip From Reader

Reader Tina e-mailed me yesterday to let me know about some great deals at her local Wegmans store in Fredericksburg, VA. I thought it was worth sharing with all you readers (in case any of you live in Fredericksburg, or in case there are any similar deals at other DC area Wegmans stores):

  • They have select Green Works Laundry Detergent on sale (regular price) for $2.99. Use the $3/1 hang tag coupon (found in Target?) to get this for FREE. There’s also a $1.50 off coupon and $0.50 off coupon from the 1/17/10 Smart Source insert.
  • The Marcal Small Steps paper towels are on sale for $1.99 and the tissue is $3.99. Use the $2.00 off coupons for the tissue from 1/31/10 Smart Source insert to get it for only $1.99
Use the free (*up to $1*) Marcal paper towels coupon from the same date to get it for $0.99 (or possibly free, depending on your manager and the fine print on your coupon).
  • They have select varieties of Pillsbury Sweet/Cinnamon Rolls (refrigerated) on sale for $2.29. Use the $0.95 Pillsbury Sweet Roll Internet Printable Coupon (no longer available to print) which will DOUBLE at the Fredericksburg store (does not double at other VA stores) equalling only $0.39!

I’ve shopped at Wegmans a couple of times and like the store layout, the regular low price on family pack ground beef and boneless chicken, and the low price on Wegmans brand items. Liz, another Northern Virginian blogger shares the weekly Wegmans deals on her blog Frugally Blonde so if you’re a Wegmans fan, you can keep up with deals, coupon match-ups and special finds by following her blog.

Thanks Tina for the tip on the deals you found! And thanks also for also enlightening me on Wegmans coupon policy! In my weekly circular it states that they double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50 everyday, and I assumed that was the policy for all their stores. But after you let me know that the Fredericksburg Wegmans store doubles manufacturer coupons up to $0.99 in face value everyday, I searched Frugally Blonde’s links to the Wegmans coupon policy and found out that: All Virginia stores double manufacturer coupons up to $0.50 in face value, and ONLY the Fredericksburg, VA store doubles coupons up to $0.99 in face value. Good deal if you live in Fredericksburg!
