Social Safeway – Free Olive Oil Demo & Wine Tasting

The Georgetown “Social”  Safeway (located at 1855 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007) is hosting a free olive oil demonstration and wine tasting (including Schlumberger, Montirius and Santa Duc VV) with expert Bill Sanders this Tuesday, December 7th from 6:30pm-8pm. Take the mystery out of olive oil! Learn how to buy, store and use everyone’s favorite cabinet staple with an informative class and tasting session.

As Georgetown’s “Social” Safeway celebrates its grand opening year the store has implemented “52 Weeks of Events” a series of events featuring the best of DC.  With chef demonstrations, etiquette tea parties, book signings and more, DC’s favorite hot spot with a produce aisle has lots in store this holiday season!
