Finish dishwasher detergent is 2/7 and I have .75 off 1 coupons, making the total $2 ea. Also, Orbit gum is BOGO (single packs), and I have $1 off 2 coupons. Not sure what the exact price is, but should be cheap.

Thanks Anne! I’ll update my post with those finds shortly.
I’m so glad I got to meet you at the Relevant Conference last year. Are you planning on attending this year?

So if something is BOGO if you just buy one is it half price?

if it is BUY ONE GET ONE then i imagine the store doesnt care if you dont take
the 2nd one but you dont get the first one half price… its not the same as like a 2 for 4 dollar item in which case each item would be 2 dollars. if orbit gum is say 1.19 regularly and they are doing buy one get one free, you would pay 1.19 for 2. if you used the coupon for 1 dollar off of 2 packs, you would actually be paying 19 cents total for 2 or 9.5 cents per pack….plus tax

Thanks for jumping in and answering Mark!
In my experience and according to my PR contact at Giant, you do need to get 2 items for the B1G1 free deal. Other stores like Harris Teeter & Bloom will allow you to buy 1 item at half price during the B1G1 free sales (per their coupon policies).
I’ve asked Giant to clarify their coupon policy verbiage in regards to this, so hopefully they will.

that is very interesting to know. thank you. today at Safeway i used a coupon for hershey bars where it is BOGO on the coupon. Well, Safeway is currently running buy 2 get 2 free so I used 2 BOGO coupons in addition to this and actually got all 4 hersheys chocolate bars entirely free. I think the coupon was from an insert 2 weeks ago. I am still learning the ropes here and I LOVE YOUR BLOG. Very knowledgable and helpful to some of us newbies :)

Keep up the great work and thank you!!
