Savings Nation Workshop Recap

This past Friday, I had the chance to speak at the Administrative Resource Team conference for Fairfax County and deliver a condensed version of the Savings Nation workshop. It was great to share some couponing basics, answer questions and connect with other savvy shoppers and beginning couponers who serve on the administrative resource team for our local county government. Plus I loved how experienced couponers in the crowd such as Debra, were willing to share how they save money at their favorite stores and some tricks behind warehouse club shopping. We have a great community of savvy shoppers here in Northern VA & the DC metro! I had such a fun time speaking at this conference and am so thankful that the Washington Examiner was willing to provide their paper and coupon inserts for attendees! I only wish we had longer than an hour to meet (normally my workshops are about 2 hours)!

I’ve heard from some of you local readers that you are interested in attending a couponing workshop and I’m so excited to be teaming up with Savings.com to bring more workshops here to the DC area! If you’d like to attend a Savings Workshop or request a Savings Nation speaker at a future event, please check out the Savings Nation page here. Here in the DC area I’ll be offering workshops very soon and will keep you updated when these are scheduled!

The great news is, these classes are being offered across the US! Please spread the word and check out the list of currently scheduled workshops for the next month in case you have friends or family in other parts of the country that want to learn how to save money on their groceries!:

And to see the rest of the classes, visit the Savings Nation registration page! (more classes are being added every day!)

I hope to see you at my next Savings Nation workshop here in our Nation’s Capital!
