resolution-solution-Grocery-Savings-Video-Series

Is saving money and getting organized on your list of New Year’s Resolutions? You’ll be excited to hear that there are simple ways to save money on groceries and get more organized! I’m excited to co-host two #ResolutionSolution Google Hangouts over the next week along with my friend Melissa from Bargain Shopper Mom! We’ll be sharing our top grocery savings tips and talking about Favado, a new free app, that helps you easily find the best grocery deals and save money! Each Google Hangout should last no more than 30 minutes, so we’re hoping to pack a lot of concise, practical tips in these videos!

Wed. Jan 22nd, 2014 1:00 pm ET – Couponing for “Double the Discount”

Watch live here.
The deep 50-70% savings that you hear talked about frequently occur when you combine a coupon with an already discounted product for “double the discount.” For example if toothpaste is on sale for $1 and you have a $0.50 off coupon, you’ll get that toothpaste for free (if your store doubles manufacturer coupons).  Favado helps by doing all the hard work for you and putting the best sale prices with matching available coupons in a nice, organized list. Favado makes it easy to find these discounts and save big on groceries.

Wed. Jan 29th, 2014 1:00 pm ET – Meal Planning

Watch live here.
Making a meal plan based on what’s on sale in your local grocery stores can help you cut your grocery bill by 20-30% alone. Matching your meals with the sales is a simple, scissorless way to save each week at the grocery store. Favado helps by allowing you to search for ingredients that are on sale for the meals you want to make each week. Want to make a slow cooker meal that calls for boneless skinless chicken thighs or beef roast? Favado can tell you which store has those ingredients on sale each week.

To join these Google Hangouts live, simply click the link above for “Watch live here.”
Also, be sure to ask any couponing or meal planning questions on my Facebook page before the event, and Melissa and I will try to answer those questions during our video chats.
You can also watch the videos from these hangouts afterwards, by visiting the Bargain Shopper Mom YouTube channel.
