National Harbor Wine & Food Festival + Giveaway


Coming up the weekend of May 2nd – 3rd, enjoy wine and food tastings, cooking demonstrations from award-winning chefs, live music, artisanal crafts and much more at the National Harbor Wine & Food Festival. Event: 8th annual National Harbor Wine & Food Festival
Dates: Saturday, May 2nd – Sunday, May 3rd, 2015
Time: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm (VIP access begins at 12:00 noon)
Prices: Starting at $39/Person for Pre-Purchase of General Admission One Day Pass for $39 (price is $49 onsite). Tickets can be purchased at www.wineandfoodnh.com or by calling 1-800-830-3976.

This outdoor, tent-covered event nestled along the banks of the Potomac River and surrounded by the National Harbor hotels, restaurants and shops, is a gathering of award-winning celebrity chefs, artisanal craftsmen, culinary pioneers, smooth jazz, and the best wine and spirits from around the globe.

Some highlights include:

  • Sampling of 150 International wines, spirits and beers featured along with local and regional favorites,
  • Cinco De Mayo Pavilion,
  • Special craft beer tasting Bier Garten experience,
  • Whiskey and Bourbon Tasting Experience,
  • Live music on 3 stages, plus smooth jazz.

On the Cooking Stage you’ll find award winning super star chef talent, including:

Saturday, May 2nd:

  • Chef Scott Drewno of The Source by Wolfgang Puck,
  • Chef Mike Isabella of Graffiato,
  • Chef Victor Albisu of Del Campo.

Sunday, May 3rd:

  • Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley of Roofers Union,
  • Chef Bryan Voltaggio of Volt/Range Restaurant,
  • Chef Rahman “Rock” Harper winner of Fox Reality television series Hell’s Kitchen.

All of these local, regional and nationally recognized chefs will offer meet and greets in addition to cooking demonstrations.

Tickets for the National Harbor Wine & Food Festival are on sale on their website and range from a General Admission One Day Pass for $39 in advance/$49 onsite, VIP Saturday pass for $79 or Sunday for $69, to a Grand Cru Two-Day All Access Pass at $199 per person. I would love to attend because I am a local foodie and would enjoy tasting all of the different food and alcoholic beverages,…and just experiencing everything this event has to offer!!!

I want to win, to take my mom for her birthday. She loves watching all the cooking shows on food network. Gordon Ramsay is her fav!
