Super Double Coupon Promotions at Bloom and *NOT* Harris Teeter :(

The Redemption Unlimited gals reported this great weekend deal at Bloom, that they are doing Super Double Coupon this weekend, 9/25/09 – 9/29/09.  You can find more details on this deal here as well as a list of coupon match-ups here.  Thanks Redemption Unlimited!

Bloom will double manufacturer coupons up to $1.99 (ie. you have a coupon for $1.50 off, and it doubles to $3.00 off!) with a limit of 20 coupons per purchase, per day.  I called two stores in my area to make sure they were participating, and so far one was aware and participating, and the other was not aware and unsure of the promo (although she apologized and explained that her CSM top manager would be in later this morning and would probably know)… so, if you are in the store and have problems, your proof (for some reason Bloom decided not to print the Super Double Coupon promo in their weekly circular) is reportedly on page A19 of the Friday edition of the Washington Post.  It seems this may be a specific promo just for the Northern VA/ DC area (and not for all Blooms across the US), and I was told on the phone by one customer rep. that she suspects it may have been a last minute decision by Bloom since it didn’t get printed in the weekly circulars.

And more exciting in disappointing super double coupon news…. it is rumored (on this post at Southern Savers and this post on HotCouponWorld) that Harris Teeter will also be doing Super Double Coupons (up to $1.98) for one week, starting Wed. 9/30 – Tues. 10/6.  Woo hoo!  But it turns out that these rumors were not true, and Super Double Coupons is not taking place at HT this week… boo hoo!
