April 3, 2010 Cox Farms Free Egg Hunt in Centreville, VA

*UPDATE* Thanks to a reader for letting me know that pre-registration for this event is no longer available. As of March 24, 2010 the egg hunt has reached the maximum number of member attendees and is now full.

No further registration is available.

All other April 3 Easter Bunny events are free & open to the public.

Coming up Saturday April 3, 2010 Cox Farms in Centreville, VA will be holding an Egg Hunt. If you want to plan a fun  and frugal spring activity for the kids, you should consider pre-registering for this event. The egg hunt is free to members, but pre-registration is required. Members are asked to bring a maximum of 2 children. But if both you and your spouse are members (requires two separate email subscriptions) you can each bring up to 2 kids. If you are not currently a member, you should sign up! It is free to do, and in the past I have gotten free tickets to their popular Fall Festival just by signing up to be a member and receive occasional email updates.

The upcoming egg hunt is from 10:00am – 2:00pm and will include: the Easter Bunny, Bunny Games, Egg Coloring, Spring Farm Animals (goats, chickens and bunnies), and an egg hunt. The event is intended for children ages 5 and under, and it is limited to the first 500 people. Also, you are asked (but not required) to bring a donation of packaged food or $2 which will be donated to the Food For Others local food pantry.

This event supposedly fills up fast, so be sure to register quickly!
