Harris Teeter Triple Coupons 5/18/11-5/24/11

You probably already heard, but in case you haven’t… Harris Teeter is supposedly holding their next major coupon event starting this Wednesday, May 18th, 2011. Instead of their monthly “Super Doubles” there will supposedly be a “Triple Coupon” promotion, in which they will triple manufacturer coupons up to $0.99 in face value, with a limit of 20 coupons per day from 5/18/11-5/24/11.

Some of my favorite coupon match-ups are:

well, needless to say, I am excited for Wednesday. I have never been to any triple coupon event. I do have a question or 2. Both me and my wife usually get our own cards and get our own stuff and each use 20 items, which I assume is fine. Do you know if they only let you do 20 per day at ANY location of HT, or would it flag you if you drove to another place? Also what happens if say you have 75 cent coupon on an item that was like 1.99? Do they manually have to go in and change the coupon
to equal 1.99?? It seems like alot of hassle and work for the cashiers to have to keep going back up and down the list and doing the math. They dont do any overages?? I should not plan for buying anything else with overages correct??

No overages, the registers will adjust the price automatically.
Only 20 coupons will be doubled per day, the others will be redeemed at face value , no matter what store you go to. If you want to have more of smth, just return the next day.

Hi Mark,
I’m so glad that Ana jumped in there and answered your question (Ana – you’re the best!). Things have been a little hectic today, and I’m not always able to answer comments as quickly as I’d like. I’m excited that you’ll get to experience your first triple coupon event! My suggestion is, show up early. Also, both you and your wife can use your own VIC cards for a maximum of 20 coupons each that can be doubled each day. It is enforced by use of your VIC card, so after 20, the register will not let you double any more (no mater what store you’re at).
If you have any other questions, let me know!
