Happy Veteran’s Day 2011! Here are some great Veteran’s Day deals and freebies for this year in the Washington, DC metropolitan area:

- Applebees – FREE signature entrée from their special Vets Day menu for veterans and active duty military on Fri. Nov. 11th. Offer available at participating Applebees. Dine-in from limited menu only. For more information, click here.
- Buca di Beppo – FREE small Spaghetti Marinara Pasta for veterans and active duty military, with the purchase of any small or large Pasta baked pasta or entree. I suggest calling your nearest location to confirm participation.
- Chili’s – FREE choice of one of six entrées or any lunch combo for veterans and those on active military duty on Fri. Nov. 11th. Offer available at participating Chili’s in the US only. Dine in, from limited menu. For more information, click here.
- Famous Daves – FREE Two Meat Salute – choose two different meats served with corn bread muffin, corn-on-the-cob and your choice of one side. For more information, click here.
- Krispy Kreme – FREE donut for veterans and active military personnel on Fri. Nov. 11th. There is a press release from 2009 here, but I was able to confirm on the phone that most DC metro Krispy Kremes are participating in this offer again this year. I suggest you call your local store to confirm.
- Olive Garden – FREE entree for veterans or active duty military from limited menu on Fri. Nov. 11th. Dine-in only. For more information, click here.
- Outback Steakhouse – FREE Bloomin’ Onion and a (non-alcoholic) Beverage for military personnel who have one of the following forms of identification: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW, Photograph in Uniform or Wearing Uniform) on Fri. - Subway – FREE 6-inch sub on Fri. Nov. 11th for veterans and active duty military only in select regions. Baltimore, MD & Salisbury, MD appear to be the only participating markets in the DMV. For more information, click here.
- Texas Roadhouse – FREE entree from select lunch menu for veterans and active duty military on Fri. Nov. 11th from 11 am – 2 pm. For more information, click here.
- T.G.I. Fridays – FREE entree for veterans and active military, with purchase of another entree on Fri. Nov. 11th. For more information, click here.
- Uno’s – 19.43% off (1943 was the year Uno was born) for active military members and veterans Nov. 7th-11th. Just show a military or veteran’s ID, no coupon necessary. For more information, click here.
