It’s that magical time of year when the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland is transformed into a winter wonderland for their annual Christmas On The Potomac event! Through January 1, 2017 their extremely popular ICE sculpture attraction is back as well as their new Christmas Village, located in the hotel’s exhibit hall.
The theme of this year’s ICE! attraction is “Christmas Around The World!” You have the chance to don one of Gaylord Hotel’s snazzy blue parkas as you enter the chilly, 9 degree area, to experience an impressive display of Christmas celebrated across the world, constructed from two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures! There are also 5 ice slides and The Frostbite Factory – a live carving zone.
