After a season of leisure-filled, sun-drenched days, plenty of swimming and playing outdoors, our family is getting ready for the frenzy of fall and the upcoming school year.
I had to do a double-take when I realized how much my kids have grown since last fall, and even since this past spring. My daughter has shot up a full size and is already one of the tallest among friends in her grade. Likewise, my son has sprouted up at least an inch or two. If you haven’t been to Potomac Mills recently, you are missing out! I love that the entire mall is indoors and climate-controlled; outdoor malls just aren’t as much fun when the weather is hot, rainy, or snowy.

I headed over to Potomac Mills Mall earlier this month to update my children’s wardrobe with quality clothes at affordable prices.
My kids and I stocked up on great clothes and footwear while shopping at The Children’s Place Outlet, OshKosh B’Gosh Outlet, New Balance Factory Store, Rack Room Shoes, and GAP Factory Store. We even picked up some fun gifts at Justice and the LEGO Store.

My son loves his brand new FuelCore NITREL Trail running shoes from New Balance. He plans to wear these for cross country running which kicks off soon.
My daughter fell in love with the adorable flip-sequins shirts and blouses at OshKosh B’Gosh! Her favorites were the unicorn short-sleeve T-shirt and striped heart long-sleeve T-shirt. She also is excited about her new boots (also from OshKosh B’Gosh)!
