The ultimate monster truck event, Monster Jam®, returns to Capital One Arena in DC later this month! I’ve got all the details plus a special ticket giveaway (so keep reading)!
Monster Jam® features an unscripted and unforgettable performance by impressive athletes in larger-than-life speedsters, ATVs, and trucks. This show is known as the most family-friendly motor sport in the world and Washington DC-area fans will have the chance to experience three adrenaline pumping events at Capital One Arena on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, 2019.
Eight talented and world-class trained athletes — consisting of men and women, together on the race track — will battle for the Monster Jam championship competing in custom, high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and of course, the iconic Monster Jam trucks in six events sure to leave fans on the edge of their seats.
Monster Jam drivers have spent grueling hours training and mastering the physical strength and mental endurance needed to compete, as well as honing the necessary skills to maneuver 12,000-pound machines in gravity-defying feats like backflips, vertical two-wheel skills, and high-speed racing up to 70 miles per hour. The results are astonishing, adrenaline-charged, live action feats with drivers pushing their trucks to the limit in this competition. Fans in DC will decide the winners of both the “2-Wheel Skills” and “Freestyle” competitions in real-time, by casting their votes on their smartphones during the live event.

Add-on: The Pit Party on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. gives fans the opportunity to get up close and personal to the Monster Jam trucks and drivers, take photos, and get autographs. Note: the Pit Party is an additional fee and is not included in the regular ticket price.
Tickets & Passes: Ticket prices start at $20 per person, and Pit Party Pre-Show Passes start at $15 per person. You can purchase tickets and Pit Party Passes at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster online; Capital One Arena box office, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
