I’m sure everyone knows about the upcoming epic snow storm headed our way this weekend (supposedly starting tomorrow, Fri. 2/5/10). Reports are that this may exceed the 2-feet of snow that the Northern VA and Washington DC Metro area encountered back in December 2009. Yikes!
My advice (which is really just common sense) try to make it out to the grocery store today, Thursday, before everyone starts to go into “blizzard stock-up mode” (if they haven’t already!), and before the bad weather starts coming our way. You don’t want to be driving out in the bad weather conditions to pick up a gallon of milk, loaf of bread, and chicken… do it today!
If you’re trying to figure out which grocery store to hit, there are some good sales going on right now that local bloggers have reported on. Below are my favorite local frugal bloggers who report on each store’s deals:
