Here’s a round-up of some great printable coupons currently available for local grocery stores here in the DC Metro area:
Bloom – $5.00/$25.00 purchase coupon here. Redeemable only in Southeastern VA and DC area locations.
Magruders – Sign up for their e-mail list and you’ll get weekly deals sent to your inbox, along with weekly store coupons. Just send an email to circular @ magruders.com with the word “Subscribe” in the subject line. This week’s coupons are: $1.00/1 Breyers Ice Cream 48 oz, with additional $30 purchase; FREE 1 dozen large Grade A Eggs, with additional $30 purchase; Weekly Meal Deal coupon.
Safeway – $1.00/$5.00 produce coupon apparently just ran out. But you can look out for the Simple Nutrition booklets in-store which should contain another $1.00 off coupon (expires 8/3/11).
Shoppers Food – Facebook coupon weekend offer here. Changes every week, but for this weekend (Fri. 5/20/11 – Sun. 5/22/11) it is for a free 5-12 oz bag Dole Salad Blend & 11.5 oz bottle of Marie’s Salad Dressing, with an additional $25 purchase.
Wegmans – $1.00/$5.00 purchase of fresh meat coupon here (expires 5/28/11). Also a $1.00/2 Wegmans BBQ sauce, 18-20 oz here (expires today, 5/21/11). To get exclusive online coupons delivered to your inbox, sign up for a free Wegmans online account here.
Please remember, some stores accept competitor coupons! For example, Giant’s coupon policy states “Yes. Giant will accept competitor’s coupons provided the customer has met the purchase requirements as stated on the face of the coupon.” Although Harris Teeter accepts competitor coupons, according to the Harris Teeter coupon policy they do not accept printable competitor coupons from the internet: “We gladly accept local competitors’ manufacturer coupons. We also redeem circular or direct-mail coupons for money off of the total order. We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.”
