Don’t let superstitions keep you indoors tomorrow, when many popular food establishments throughout our area will be offering free treats. Cover your bases and fill up on Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast, Chick-fil-a sandwiches for lunch and Starbucks’ newest drink for an afternoon pick-me-up.
Krispy Kreme: Join in the doughnut shop’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, where they have created three new flavors just for the event. Purchase one dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts at regular price and get a second box of their famous plain, glazed variety for only 75 cents. Participation may vary store to store, so be sure to call ahead to ensure the location near you is offering the deal.
Chick-fil-a: This popular chain will be celebrating “Cow Appreciation Day” all day tomorrow. Customers who make an effort to dress head-to-toe in a cow costume can redeem a free meal, which can be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Those who only dress in partial cow attire (i.e. a cow hat or a cow scarf only) will receive an entrée as opposed to a full combo meal. Starbucks: In honor of their newest drink, the Starbucks Refresher, the coffee company is offering customers the opportunity to try a free 12 oz. Refreshers on Friday from noon until 3 p.m. There is a limit of one drink per person, however you do not need to purchase anything prior to receiving your drink.
