Teddy’s Table is a cool new website for parents with a simple philosophy: Restaurant Reviews: For Families, By Families. They give parents, grandparents and other caregivers “the dish” on kid-friendly aspects of local restaurants by sharing reviews from other families. Teddy’s Table is on a mission to make it easier for Washingtonians to plan their next trip to the Zoo or a new museum, by organizing family-approved & reviewed restaurants with the Teddy’s Table mark of approval.
Teddy’s Table knows that each family is different and has different needs, but recognizes all families want to have a good experience when they eat out. Their database of other families’ recommendations about where to go, sharing which restaurants have: kids menus (not all do!), organic food, allergy friendly choices, gluten free options, and Kosher options. Plus they “dish” on what amenities they offer, such as the invaluable information on which have highchairs/booster seats, diaper changing stations, are stroller friendly, pet-friendly and more.
They also have a special Restaurant Offers page with discounts at select local eateries. When I checked it out, I saw some discounts for Del Ray Cafe (in Alexandria) and American Bistro and Coffee House (in Fairfax). Since you know I love bargains, I’m definitely excited about this new site!
