When is Fairfax City Restaurant Week?
Fairfax City Restaurant Week takes place during the first week in March, beginning on the first Sunday of the month and running through Saturday.
What is Fairfax City Restaurant Week?
Fairfax City Restaurant Week has become a new annual tradition highlighting Fairfax, Virginia’s culinary scene filled with globally-diverse and locally owned dining destinations. This event is made possible in partnership with the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.
This is your chance to discover new gathering spots in the community, buy local, and dine at some of the best, independently owned restaurants in Northern Virginia. Over 20 unique eateries are serving up delicious deals and specials throughout the week.
What specials are available during Fairfax City Restaurant Week?
Each restaurant has determined their own specials for Fairfax City Restaurant Week.
Many of the participating restaurants are offering:
- $20 Three Course Lunch
- $35 Three Course Dinner
Some Fairfax City restaurants have created a specific Restaurant Week menu for lunch and dinner, which can be found in store and on the Fairfax City Restaurant Week website.
Besides the three-course menu specials, restaurants will offer special events including: George Mason University appreciation, local product features, Meet the Maker events, charitable giving, live entertainment, and drink pairings.
This is the perfect time to try a new dining destination in your own backyard, plus support local and independent restaurants.
New Fairfax City Restaurant Week App & Rewards
This year they have rolled out an app and rewards system for Fairfax City Restaurant Week. Patrons will be rewarded when they dine out during Restaurant Week, simply by downloading their Fairfax City Restaurant Week app (available for iPhone) or by registering your points at FairfaxCityRestaurantWeek.com/rewards.
With qualifying purchases of Restaurant Week Menu items, you’ll be eligible to earn rewards. You can collect 2 points for every meal at a participating restaurant and 1 point for social media shout outs through the app. Once you hit 10 points, you can earn a $25 gift card from a participating restaurant. You just need to provide your ticket code, restaurant name, and restaurant week menu ordered (lunch vs. dinner) when reporting your purchases through the Fairfax City Restaurant Week App or through their website. That means if you eat out 4 times (with social media shout-outs) or 5 times, purchasing Restaurant Week menu items, you should be able to earn a $25 gift card.
Terms and Conditions listed on their website: Limited to one entry per person per meal at participating restaurants. Customer may be asked to show receipts. Entrants into this contest may receive future communication from Fairfax City Restaurant Week and Restaurant Participants.
